I appreciate the advice to not say to oneself "it's only 100 readers". Given that I'm only 3 months in on Substack, and generally suck at marketing, that's relevant here.
Sometimes I think what defines a writer is that they lack the ability to stop writing. There's a part of me that doesn't even believe that much in thinking and writing anymore, or at least is ever more clear about the limits of this medium. But I'm a typoholic, so the show goes on, in my head at least if not elsewhere.
